
John Bruzon - Accompanist
John Bruzon studied at the London College of Music with Eric Hope and later at Trinity College of Music with the pianist Irene Kohler. He also worked with Paul Hamburger on the art of accompaniment.
He has given many recitals throughout the United Kingdom and abroad including several performances at the Wigmore Hall, London.
John was privileged to partner the baritone Derek Hammond-Stroud at the Fairfield Halls 20th Anniversary Celebrity Lunchtime Concerts and in a performance of the song cycle “Winterreise” for the Schubert Society of Great Britain.
Recently, he was the classical artist on the QE2 for part of a world cruise, giving five different recital programmes both as soloist and accompanist.
Currently he is based in East Sussex where he has forged a busy and diverse career as an accompanist, teacher, chamber musician and solo recitalist.
