The Young East Sussex Singers were formed in 2006. A mixed youth choir, our aim is to promote excellence in choral singing for young people in East Sussex. Membership is open to young singers aged between 13 and 21.



We meet every summer for an intensive choral course and concert. Courses are held in venues across the county, including Eastbourne College and Battle Abbey School. The course lasts for six days, from Monday to Saturday, and culminates in a special presentation given to parents on the Saturday afternoon.



With voices refreshed, we reconvene a few weeks after the course for our major public concert. Venues so far include the Eastbourne Winter Gardens. We also fundraise for the NSPCC. Click here to visit the NSPCC website.
